For the Yeti Step SDS Plus Drill Bits, we recommend using a rotary hammer drill that accepts SDS Plus shank eg. Bosch GBH 2-28 DV Professional Rotary Hammer and Makita HR2630X7 Rotary Hammer.

Our 250mm x 280mm Yeti Step SDS Plus Drill Bits are engineered with top-grade tungsten for clean, efficient drilling and rapid waste removal. Made specifically to work with Yeti Steps, these bits ensure a perfect fit for optimal performance. For new concrete installations, avoid post-drilling altogether with Yeti plastic ferrels. These injection-molded, high-quality PP plastic ferrels are sold in packs of 20 and simply install during the concrete pouring stage. Together, these Yeti Step accessories make installation fast, easy, and reliable.

What are the different sized steps available from Yeti Steps?

Yeti Steps are available in three sizes: WS225, WS285, and WS375, with centre-to-centre distances of 225mm, 285mm, and 375mm respectively.

Required tools include a tape measure, marker, quality SDS Hammer Drill, 28mm SDS Plus 4 Cut Drill Bit, mallet, and optionally, epoxy resin.

By adding epoxy resin during installation, Yeti Steps can achieve up to 1500kg pull out resistance, especially recommended if the concrete’s integrity is questionable or higher pull out strength is required.

Yeti Steps offer a fast and clean installation process without the need for epoxy, thanks to their optimized expander leg design for superior anchoring.

The steps incorporate a centralised high tensile 16mm steel bar, a high-strength 28mm diameter step leg, and optimised slip resistance, all designed to meet and exceed AS standards.

Features like the stopper on the leg for installation to AS standards, high strength step support for extra rigidity, and full 360-degree pullout resistance underscore their quality and innovation.
